I Always Knew This Might Come

I am truly saddened as all of this I have worked to create is about to be blown asunder thanks to Reiko's decision that it is a good idea for her to play some kind of piece of lesbian fluff. There is no purpose to this character other than to entice male viewers hoping to see some skin and girl on girl action and to force out Hollywood's anti-Christian political message. I had hoped Reiko was smart enough to take roles which were designed to be more than a walking piece of, well, let's just say *censored*.

I cannot look away from how offensive I find this role as I did with ER despite the fact that role was written with the expressed purpose of belittling Christians. The agnostic rabbi (isn't that an oxymoron?), who her character was based on, basically admitted this fact.

I guess Reiko didn't have much else to do after getting booted from The Forgotten (although that was probably for the best) so she took the first piece of crap which was offered. Maybe she should have learned from her friend Carlos' mistakes.

Even though I am already being belittled and called all of the usual names, I will not back down from standing up for my beliefs.

If, and I know when, either the episode airs or details comes out which confirm Reiko and her so called "partner" are kissing or having sex, or they go into some long diatribe bashing religion, I will delete Reiko-Aylesworth.net, this blog, the RA.net forum, and every other thing related to it. Despite how much it will hurt, it will be done without hesitation or a second thought.

I'm sure Reiko will have a real fun time spending the next decade trying to squelch the persistent, cancerous rumors which will follow her for years to come. I've already seen two posts on IMDB asking if she really is a lesbian. So far both have been deleted as the authors were extremely obscene in their comments, but its only a matter of time before one survives and the disease spreads across the Internet.

All of this makes me sick to no end. I thought better of Reiko than seeing her lowering herself to this level. I am starting to feel like it was truly a waste of time and money to fly to Springfield back in 2007. I will always be grateful for how kind Reiko was toward me, but I feel as though I seriously failed in something I am usually good at, judging character.

All of that said, I do not hate Reiko; that is not how I am. I just detest the fact she felt it necessary to select such a role, a role I cannot approve of or even ignore.

Maybe I was right in sticking to liking celebs like John Wayne or Jimmy Stewart.

FYI, all offensive comments left on this blog will be deleted without hesitation.

Stargate Universe

Looks like Reiko will have a guest spot on the upcoming Stargate Universe series sometime late in 2009.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/06/12/june-12-2009-my-four-dads-cracking-casting-star-runners-and-mailbag

Edit:

Usually I will not be critical of Reiko for the roles she takes, but alas, this time I must. Sadly, it appears this character is nothing but a piece of lesbian fluff, which means every asshole out there will now try to claim Reiko is as well. There are a lot better roles to take than some useless character who is put into a show for no other reason than to score political points with at most 2% of the population; well 30% if you count the political left.

Also, I suspect this will be the role which forces me to invoke a little known rule I put into place on RA.net long ago. That rule states "If I ever find a role of Reiko's highly offensive, I will shut down RA.net and everything associated with it forever." If it comes to that, I will do so without hesitation. It almost happened once due to "ER" and I have no qualms in doing it over this idiot show. Regardless, Reiko playing a lesbian whore will never appear on RA.net in any form or fashion.

Well, Forget Watching The Forgotten

(Testing Google Blog Search)

I can't say I really feel bad, except for Reiko. I am not a crime drama fan so watching this show, even with Reiko in it, would not have been overly entertaining for me.

However, I have no doubt Reiko will not let this get her down. She does not seem like the type to let something stop her from doing what she loves.

I must assume that due to the negative criticism ABC has received about this show, they panicked and decided they had to appease the critics by doing something drastic. Well, I give this show less than 6 episodes before it gets pulled. I will be laughing my ass off when "The Forgotten" implodes as I know it will.

Good overseas support can keep a show going when its U.S. ratings are below average (that is what saved "24" after Season 1). From what I am seeing, a lot of Brits were planning to check it out because of Rupert Penry-Jones but now they are going to pass.

In the end, I am sure it will be better for Reiko that she's gone just like it was with "3lbs."

With the upfronts over, broadcast networks have begun tweaking the casts of their newly picked-up series in what has become a kind of "recasting season."

The biggest changes so far are being made to ABC's fall drama series "The Forgotten," in which two major roles are being recast including the lead, played in the pilot by British actor Rupert Penry-Jones.

Also affected by early recastings are CBS' "NCIS: Los Angeles," the network's medical dramas "Three Rivers" and "Miami Trauma" and new legal drama "The Good Wife," and NBC's comedy "100 Questions."

"Forgotten," from WBTV and Bruckheimer TV, is a mystery series about a group of amateur detectives led by a former cop (Penry-Jones) whose 11-year-old daughter was kidnapped three years ago. Also departing the project is Reiko Aylesworth, who played one of the sleuths.

No way am I going to give ABC any free publicity.

Here is a big "Foxtrot Uniform," or if you prefer, "Foxtrot Yankee" and a hope your new show goes into the toilet where it belongs.

The Zombie is Evil, Get Over It

I am not writing this as the webmaster of RA.net, I am writing this as a former fan of 24.

I have not regularly watched 24 since Season 5; I tried with S6 but it was so crappy I decided it was no longer the show I enjoyed. (And despite what some people think, it had nothing to do with Michelle being written out of the show. As Reiko has said more than once, that is just how it goes on 24 and you don't let it bother you.)

However, I refused to even consider Season 7 because of how the writers decided it was a good idea to bring the Zombie out of his crypt so he could eat some brains. All of their excuses were beyond lame ("it missed the artery" and "no silent clock" are my favorites), but we know it was done just to appease the rabid Tony fans.

However, I have enjoyed watching these fans now self destruct throughout the season. Some are mad because Tony Almeida is evil, others are so delusional that they think he is still "good" even though he is a mass murderer and traitor. So for all of you Tonybots, his excuse of doing everything to avenge Michelle does not make him "good." What they have had him do throughout the season does nothing but spit on Michelle's grave. She would be appalled that he murdered countless, innocent people and became the very thing he and Michelle had once dedicated their lives to opposing.

So, for all you Tonybots, your precious Zombie turned out to be evil incarnate. His reasons do not matter, his actions do. In this case, the ends do not justify the means.

You'd Think They Would Learn

Well, once more the idiots who write 24 have decided they need to spit in the face of many of the fans who made the show successful. With the return of CTU, the morons have also decided to try once more and replace the Tony/Michelle romance. We all know what happened in Season 6, it was an utter disaster when they tried the Milo/Nadia and Doyle/Nadia romances.

Now, with Season 8 they are going to try once more to replace Tony and Michelle.

Dayna Pakkala (what kind of idiot name is that?) will be the chief analyst at CTU: New York and will be romantically involved with Davis Cole, the Jack Bauer wanna-be head of Field Ops.

Sound familiar? Of course it does. It is time once more for the 24 writers to try and recreate the glory days of the show. Actually, it sounds to me like a cheap way to appease the Kiefer Krazies who always wanted Michelle to be Jack's girl and have hated Reiko for it ever since. And if you don't believe this actually happens, there is a certain 24 forum where such attitudes are displayed on a regular basis. The admin actually banned almost every Reiko fan because we refused to simply accept her and her friends' constant trashing of Reiko. (One b*tch actually hates Reiko because she is 1/4 Japanese.) The few who remained did so because they kiss the admin's ass and/or have used the site for some, how should I say this, less than honorable purposes.

Anyway, just more proof that the 24 writers are about as clueless as they could possibly be.

The Assistants Trailer

Well, the trailer for The Assistants is finally posted on their Facebook page; Reiko is in it for about 1/2 a second around the :19 second mark. However she is not listed when they show the cast including the supporting actors such as Jane Seymour and Joe Mantegna. Hell, they do not even list her on the Facebook site as part of the cast, although there is one picture.

Reiko Aylesworth 'Lost' TV Guide Interview

Well, not quite yet, but next week. However, until then, here is a sneak peak.

Looking ahead to next week's episode, if you seek info on Amy, 24 alumna Reiko Aylesworth phoned us to share some tantalizing tidbits about her recurring character, who turns up next week. Pregnant. (Watch for my complete and completely intriguing Q&A with Reiko next week. Seriously, I had goosebumps by the time we got done. Gonna be a big episode. Game-changing by all accounts.)

First Pictures of Reiko in Lost

The original description of Reiko's character "Amy" was a woman looking for "Mr. Right" and big into the outdoors. Now, for some reason I am not seeing that in these pictures. (Hint: sarcasm) Maybe it is just me or perhaps the character description was deliberately inaccurate. We shall see.

Even though I think everyone is smart enough to realize it, the link is spoilers so don't say I didn't offer a warning.
